London Wildlife Trust welcomes the local community to awaken the apple trees to ensure a good harvest of fruit in autumn in a traditional Wassailing event. Activities on the day will include apple inspired crafts, bird feeders, warming bread on the fire (weather permitting), pinning toast to trees (this apparently helps with a good harvest) and more! There will be live music from local folk band Larkin' the Woods from 1.30pm - 2.30pm. Refreshments will also be available to purchase.
