The Summer Reading Challenge is the UK's biggest free reading-for-fun programme for children, to encourage reading and learning throughout the summer holidays. The theme for this year is: 'Read to the Beat', it's an extra special year, as we also celebrate the National Year of Reading! It starts on 4th July until 12th September. To celebrate, we're hosting some musical crafts! Dance your way to the Library and decorate your paper Mix-Tape or Record, to take home with you.
