Pick your own lavender at London's community lavender field, hidden inside the Stanley Road allotments. Bring scissors or secateurs, snip a bunch to take home, and browse stalls of lavender plants, oils, soaps and cake; the Black Swan morris dancers perform on the Sunday. Entry £2 for adults (£5 including a bunch) and up to two under-16s go FREE per group. 10am–5pm, last entry 4:30pm — advance tickets online or just turn up.
